The upgrade question is not about the plan table. It is about your phone. A device that manages three focused hours a day will not suddenly produce eight because the plan allows it. Start from what your device already does.
What changes between plans
- Free Node costs nothing, runs up to 3 hours per day at a 1.0x multiplier, with 3 ads per session.
- Premium Node costs $7.99 per month, runs up to 6 hours at 1.2x, with 2 ads per session.
- Pro Node costs $12.99 per month, runs up to 8 hours at 1.4x, with 1 ad per session.
A first-time verified find pays a base reward between 0.00002 and 0.0003 DASH depending on the discount tier. The plan multiplier scales that base; it does not change the duplicate rule.
A worked example
Suppose your device produces 20 verified finds in a month at the 0.0003 DASH tier. On Free, that is 20 × 0.0003 = 0.006 DASH. On Premium, 20 × 0.00036 = 0.0072 DASH. On Pro, 20 × 0.00042 = 0.0084 DASH. The gap between Free and Pro is 0.0024 DASH at this volume.
Now suppose the longer window also raises finds, from 20 to 30. Pro returns 0.0126 DASH. Whether that covers $12.99 depends entirely on the DASH price at the time, which this article cannot fix.
The plan multiplies what you already produce. It does not produce sessions for you.
The ads are part of the price
Premium halves the ad load and Pro removes two of the three. If interruptions are what makes you stop a session early, fewer ads can matter more than a few thousandths of a DASH. That is a comfort decision, and it is legitimate.
A practical decision order
- Run Free for two weeks and count verified finds, not hours online.
- If your sessions routinely hit the 3-hour ceiling, a longer window is likely to add finds.
- If sessions end early because of battery or heat, fix that before paying for a plan.
- Only then compare the multiplier against the monthly cost.
Do not upgrade on the first day. The free plan is the cheapest way to find out whether this device is a good node at all.
