Keeping a node healthy without draining it

The node is designed to be boring: wake, read, report, sleep. Most of the damage comes from how the phone is charged, not from the work itself.

Laptop open on a desk beside a window

A polling loop that wakes on an interval, reads a page, and sleeps again costs far less than a background video or a live chart. The real wear on a phone comes from heat, full charges held overnight, and screens left on. The node itself is light.

Match the session to the plan

Each plan has a daily uptime window and a reward multiplier. Free runs for 3 hours per day at 1.0x, Premium for 6 hours at 1.2x, Pro for 8 hours at 1.4x. The window is a ceiling, not a requirement; running less is allowed and simply earns less.

  • Free Node: 3 hours daily, 1.0x multiplier, 3 ads per session.
  • Premium Node: 6 hours daily, 1.2x multiplier, 2 ads per session.
  • Pro Node: 8 hours daily, 1.4x multiplier, 1 ad per session.

Charge during the session, not after

The best habit is to run the node while the phone is plugged in and otherwise idle, ideally on a hard surface. That keeps the battery from discharging under load and avoids the cycle of deep discharge followed by a fast charge.

Avoid running it inside a case on a bed or cushion. Heat is the main enemy of a long-lived battery, and a node that sleeps between reads still generates some warmth while awake.

What actually reduces yield

Most missed finds are missed because the node was asleep, not because the network was slow.

Interrupted sessions, aggressive battery savers that kill background work, and unstable Wi-Fi all shrink the effective window. If a session keeps dying early, check the OS battery settings before considering a different plan.

Measure before upgrading

Run the free plan for a full week. Note how many verified finds your device produces and how many hours it actually stays within the window. If your phone rarely completes three hours, a longer window on a paid plan buys nothing.

Upgrade when the device is stable and the session is already long, not when a reward total looks disappointing. The multiplier rewards uptime you already have; it does not create uptime for you.

Start with three quiet hours

The free plan is enough to learn what your own device produces before you pay for more uptime.
